Bill D. Blackburn Sr. is a Vietnam-era U.S. Navy veteran and author of A Legacy of Questions, a memoir about service, fatherhood, faith, and the long road to restoration.


During the Vietnam War, Blackburn served aboard U.S. Navy aircraft carriers as a Plane Captain, responsible for aircraft and pilot readiness during combat operations.
Now based in Lacey, Washington, Blackburn writes and speaks about moral injury, coming home, and becoming new later in life.
